Our certifications cover the food safety and quality requirements for Japan (HACCP), the European Union (ISO 22000, HACCP) and the United States (HACCP, FDA). The same document set satisfies all three.

The quality system

Control at every critical point.

ISO 22000 identifies hazards and defines critical control points (CCPs). Our HACCP plan documents the CCP at each stage — intake, shell removal, drying, grading, packing — with monitoring procedures and corrective actions.

ISO 9001 sits above that: it governs our documented processes, management review, corrective action and customer feedback loops. The certification was issued by TNV UK — a body your EU and Japanese buyers recognise.

01Incoming inspection

Raw cashew nuts tested for moisture content, shell fill and aflatoxin before acceptance. Non-conforming lots are quarantined and returned to supplier.

02In-process controls

Temperature and humidity monitored at drying and storage. Foreign material detection on the grading line. Lot traceability maintained throughout.

03Pre-shipment verification

Final moisture check, colour and size spot-check against the confirmed grade. Third-party lab analysis available on request (standard for Japanese buyers).

04Documentation package

Certificate of origin, phytosanitary certificate, quality certificate, packing list, HACCP lot code record, and ISO 22000 food safety declaration shipped with every consignment.

Japan

Food Sanitation Law

Japan sets aflatoxin limits at 10 ppb (total) and 10 ppb (B1). Our lots are tested against these limits. HACCP documentation translates directly to HACCP-equivalent status required by Japanese importers.

European Union

EC 853/2004 · RASFF

EU aflatoxin limits: 10 ppb total, 5 ppb B1 for direct human consumption. ISO 22000 satisfies EC 853/2004 Article 5 (HACCP-based procedures). We have not appeared on RASFF for any food safety violation.

United States

FDA · FSMA · FSVP

FSMA requires US importers to verify their foreign supplier’s food safety controls. Our ISO 22000 certificate and HACCP documentation satisfy the FSVP importer obligation. FDA facility registration available on request.
